What is the ingame.lvl for?
Is it needed to run the mod?
does it have the fake console in it etc?

Yeah, that's the HUD, the rest of the mod works fine without it. I kept Zerteds one cos this one doesn't have the FakeConsole.

@Caleb
Yes it is for the HUD, the new fancy bits at the top and bottom left side but it also takes care of floating
weapons icon so you can run the other ingame.lvl thing if you don't mind floaters.

That was EPIC!
I'll post some pictures if you don't mind.

Didn't have alot of time so that was a shame, but its awesome!
I liked the way Dooku's saber looked and worked, and I absolutely loved the Rebel rifle and Fachete Shotgun

okay. Million dollar question. What do you guys think is better- BFX or this patch? please only answer this if you've had both.

Can't compare them. One's a sides mod and one's not. You can do a whole lot more with a sides mod.Fluffy_the_ic wrote:okay. Million dollar question. What do you guys think is better- BFX or this patch? please only answer this if you've had both.

If I were gonna compare, I'd take this hands down. Most of the side mods out there ruin the game for me. They seem rather over-the-top. But then again that could be just my style of gameplay.

Nope, they both replace the same files. No side mods will work with this.

Well the main point of this is to keep online compatibility, and since BFX isn't online-compatible, you can't really compare the two.

okay ow my game is messed up. i uninstalled BFX, but it says "FATAL- Could not open Mission.lvl". I got rid of this and re-installed it, but it still says the same thing.

Re: SWBFII Unofficial 1.2 Patch alpha/beta *ff works*
Well, this mod doesn't replace the mission.lvl - doing so would break online compatibility. So your best approach would be to obtain (or re-munge) the stock mission.lvl file.

Do you have the +123 mod installed? Because I had that problem but, with the maps.

If you reinstalled then one of the addon maps in your /addon folder is causing the problem. Did you install any new maps recently?

Hmm, as mine doesn't modify the misson.lvl, I have no idea. It must be some other issue with the other mod.
@Saitek, thanks, I added you to the credits, I downloaded stuff and forgot where it was from, or even if I had used it.
@BFX people - We're planning on having a BFX mode, where you could still have online compatibility in normal modes yet play BFX if you wished. Perhaps a bunch of these mods will just conglomerate into one Gametoast mod or something like that, offering the ultimate Battlefront gaming experience
