Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
@Forcemaster those are truely nice ships, will take 5 minutes to fly from end to end if to real scale but they are nice. I always thought it would be fun to have ships like that pilotable (scaled down of course) and just have a spawn point where they enter them. Big space battle, lots of fun.
Also it is animated (or will be) if you look at the other xfire vid it is animated but the legs weren't.
@Sky nice mushrooms, as someone who has made oversized flora (Big flowers for Dan's map) I think they are great.
And now, first in game look at the ATAP, it is not perfect, it has a stutter, and only has the walk left to right and right to left anims for now. Also will probably make it go faster, but for those that have seen other attempts (anyone remember Robbie
) this one is walking correctly not the sped up animation Robbie had. Well I am excited at least.

@Fragme: Honestly, that ATAP is about perfect alrdy. Good Job!
*hmm, does the main body swivel slightly left and right to allow the guns to fire that way like the ATST can? or will it be a fire straight and turn-whole-body-to-fire kinda vehicle*

Improved on the stormtroopers helmet dome a bit. The stocks are a bit too rounded than the OTs, or other EU works for that matter. With that said:
Left is my edited one, middle is stock, and right inset is how a stormy normally looks like
So guys, did I do well?

At first I thought the middle one was the one you made, and I thought "wow, he messed that up badly."
In other words: yours is a LOT better

@CodaRez: nice improvement.
@FragMe: excellent work sir.
More mushrooms. Textures can be easily switched around (also with the red textures shown on previous page). Short fat one has glow enabled ingame.
Will be in my 3rd enviro pack.
Giant "Mushroom Tree"
Thin Mushroom Trees (also will include version without roots)
Cave Mushroom and "roots"

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
@ sampip Pretty good for a first vehicle. You way want to play with making the tread out of one piece of geometry though, it will work better with moving tread textures.
Okay so this is the last one I will torment you with for a while, at least until I get more animations and better texture job.
It now has a cheap front leg anim move, weapons, collisions*, sounds and a real tendancy to crush anything it walks on

*was having a real problem with collision prims (actually any collision) showing up, ended up having to replace the dummy_root null. Totally wierd and I don't know why. Maybe it was on a model export/import thing as I got an error about dummy_root being a model or something like that on one msh export and that is when I changed it.
I just mention this just in case others are having fun with collisions

Wow, the walker looks good, but also, around the middle of the vid, you've got the scooter/buggy-esque thing driving by with the lights: WOW.FragMe! wrote:@Forcemaster those are truely nice ships, will take 5 minutes to fly from end to end if to real scale but they are nice.
