Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Nice work on the timebomb!
Isnt that just the Pro(its called that, right?) Layout with the main shelf enabled? I have it like that and IMO its usefull, I have some scripted commands on it. Hotkeys for all this would be even faster though...

No, that's a Mod Tools specific beginner type layout, you'll only find it in the Mod Tools versions of Softimage.ANDEWEGET wrote:Nice work on the timebomb!

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Only thing I'd change is the underside, on the beveled center I'd just collapse some of the parallel edge loops to reduce the poly count and amount of sides of the cylinder since it wont even be seen. Remember, efficiency is a huge part of being a good game artist.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:thank you!

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Very nice looking Andeweget, the arms reach the hands so they must be the right length
Something I have been playing with, not textured yet, was an exercise in playing with deform by curve. Most of the curve bits were from edges of the relavent geometry. Oh and I am not worried about poly usage. But for those who like those stats, 4926 quads 476 tris and 0 with 5 sides or more.

Haha, nice one, FragMe!!
At the others: Thanks for the nice comments!
@Lephenix/mini:
I agree the arms might be a bit too short and the upperarm should be a bit wider, too.
@naru: Do you mean creating a skeleton specifically for SWBF or just creating any skeleton?
