The customization thing was just a marketing gimick IMO to try to keep interest in the series for the time being.

I've looked at Rebellion's site to see what i could find. I dunno if this means anything to anyone but they've made COD5 for PS2 (dunno what that's like), the Simpsons Game, and Alien vs Predator for PSP (besides SWBFRS). Other than that, they seem to just be a developer of chiefly secondary titles.

Does anyone think that maybe LA will just take on the task of finishing the development of SWBF3 for itself? It would be more economically feasible than having to contract it out again, and LA I know developed TFU by itself (for Xbox 360 and PS3).

LA needs to buy Free Radical and keep under the name Free Radical, bring back all the employees and finish and announce SWBFIII, but that'd be tooo perfect.

I thought they worked with Krome Studios...

That'd be almost impossible.

Don't believe everything on Wikipedia, although they do try to make it as accurate as possible.

For the Wii and PS2 versions (and PSP, I think - don't know for sure though).

(If anyone remembers me, I'd give you a dollar... if I could)

Graphics aren't something I care about a lot in games personally, but I'm still amazed by the look of those models! I'm going to give these Rebellion guys a chance personally, you never do know. Although I do wish Free Radical's build didn't have to hit the can.

They really should've revealed this sooner, I think.

According to Wikipedia it will be released on PC. Lets hope Wiki is right this time.

Didn't read all the pages so sorry if it was already posted.

@BF2-Master:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Hi everyone,

I have decided to leave SWBF modding. I've lost faith in the community recently, and lost interest in the games. My copies refuse to install and give me constant errors, which has destroyed Multiplayer and means if I mess up, I can't fix it. Add in the fact that I used up all of my Help tokens when I was a n00b modder, and now nobody gives the time of day to help me because they think I'm being a n00b - I don't blame them, I am a stupid n00b.

Anyway, the real reason I'm here to post is actually Good News, I am releasing the Cantina assets. I've given up on all hopes of completing the map in any way, shape, or form on my own - it'll come out like crap as is, and nobody will probably even download it. So, I'm putting the Assets up in the Release Assets area on one big condition:

Someone must finish the map. I'm asking that someone download the Assets and just put it together in a way where people will download it and be able to enjoy it.

All I want is One Map Completed, with or without help, that people will enjoy. I've been modding since 2006, and I'm mad that my attempts at modding have been for waste.

Thank you for reading this,
- BF2-Master, aka JVM
Everyone comes back... sooner or later.

Incidentally, SWBF3 is now on my Wiki watchlist, so hopefully I can catch the bad edits and correct them as they come in.

Wikipedia happens to have the most credible source out there for this vid. If you look carefully around the time everyone starts screaming and clapping, it says PC among the other systems.

Fixed. Wikipedia doesn't mean squat. The video itself is the source

Wow, I'm surprised Youtube hasn't taken it down because of copyrights with LucasFilms. That's what happened to a ton of SWBF III videos within the first 2 days of this video hitting the internet. By a ton, I mean about 20 in two days.

There's a really small part of me that thinks it was part of a viral marketing concept, but I dunno -- they wouldn't close up Free Radical if that was the case, they'd buy it up.

Videos with useful commentary are considered fair use under USA copyright law. (Of course, that never seems to stop the companies going after some fan videos...)
