If you've read anything about my space Endor map you've probably also heard of my ranting that certain objects make my map crash, well I believe of finally got it down why it happens.
Basically you can only load so many (as in like different colors) meshs when the game loads or something close to that.
I guess none of the devs ever believed that anyone could do such a thing
yeah i noticed a 'mesh' limit. i noticed it after i finished putting together a battle over coruscant map, and it taking ages to munge, then while loading it fills up almost all the red dots, then crashes on the last one. i assume its coz i had so many cap ships and interiors in my map.

That doesn't necessarily mean there's a mesh limit. 10,000 things can make the game crash.
what object are causing the game to crash? And have you tried to place those objects in a test map to see if indeed you have reached this mythical msh limit or have incountered an string of objects that are faulty and need fixed?
i noticed, although this is probably a local issue, that whenever i include the 'maf' gunship (even though i cannot pilot it) the game will randomly quit to desktop, this never happens as soon as i remove the maf.
