also [GT]clan members...when SWBF2 comes out what will we do then
We will continue to represent, to fight and to pwn across the new battlefronts !

Yea, this isn´t a good by thread. I just wonder what you guys plans to mod if you can´t mod SWBF2.
This doesn´t mean that anyone should/will leave gametoast or leaving GT clan.

guess most of us will stay here.

i just cant believe for a game that see's itself as a 'game of the year' contender they dont have modtools available the day the game gets released.

yeah - its like one of the largest disgraces ever in the game history! :twisted:

I hope they change their minds and release some Mod Tools - so the disgrace will become glory :P :P :P :D :D :D

besides, why did they even improve the game, if noone can use it..?

Maybe you could extract stuff out of BF2 like skin's,texture's and other stuff and use them in BF1? :? :D

Hmm, well with what i've seen and heard, whether or not it will be modable really isn't all that bad for me. The Jedi system alone was a huge letdown for me. I suppose though if SWBF2 wasn't modable, i probably wouldn't buy the game and try to make a mod for SWBF that pretty much outdoes SWBF2.

Come on guys, i've seen maps here on gametoast that well outdoes what i've seen in SWBF2.

Personally, I think only modders who know hex-editing will be able to mod SWBF II, as at the beginning of SWBF's tweaking... :?

all those early hex editing mods didn´t worked with my german language SWBF. And let´s face the truth hexediting isn´t something to create new maps and stuff.

If SWBF II uses the same "architecture" as its prequel, then we might have a chance to re-create some munged files, like textures, *.BIK files, *.ODF files, etc...
I just hope those extracted files will be able to be compiled using SWBF munging programs...

As long as we do not have verified informations, we can't make a petition to request Mod Tools...
Imagine Pandemic is working on them and will release its tools soon ; We would be ridiculous with our petition... :D

I agree with Leviathan :P

I think they'll release some GREAT Mod Tools, when we at LEAST Expect it :wink:
