Yea, this isn´t a good by thread. I just wonder what you guys plans to mod if you can´t mod SWBF2.
This doesn´t mean that anyone should/will leave gametoast or leaving GT clan.

i just cant believe for a game that see's itself as a 'game of the year' contender they dont have modtools available the day the game gets released.

Maybe you could extract stuff out of BF2 like skin's,texture's and other stuff and use them in BF1?

Hmm, well with what i've seen and heard, whether or not it will be modable really isn't all that bad for me. The Jedi system alone was a huge letdown for me. I suppose though if SWBF2 wasn't modable, i probably wouldn't buy the game and try to make a mod for SWBF that pretty much outdoes SWBF2.
Come on guys, i've seen maps here on gametoast that well outdoes what i've seen in SWBF2.

Personally, I think only modders who know hex-editing will be able to mod
SWBF II , as at the beginning of
SWBF 's tweaking...

all those early hex editing mods didn´t worked with my german language SWBF. And let´s face the truth hexediting isn´t something to create new maps and stuff.

If SWBF II uses the same "architecture" as its prequel, then we might have a chance to re-create some munged files, like textures, *.BIK files, *.ODF files, etc...
I just hope those extracted files will be able to be compiled using SWBF munging programs...
