cockpits still need adjusting because they don't cover the full screen and sometimes cover the HUD.
Weapons...well I found out that the primary weapon of the Tie Bomber was meant to be proton torpedos so I may restore that ability. I am definitely getting rid of those stupid particle cannons on the bombers and transports.

maybe u could have a laser blast weapon like those on the interceptor except make them a bit slower because there bombers and transports.

xwingguy, what percentage would you give the progress of your map (towards completion)? Just curious, but take your time, reading, seeing, and looking at screens makes me want to wait as long as it takes for a GOOD space map. Keep up the good work.

Introducing 2 new classes

Sabatuer (better equipped to handle enemy interior defenses)

Rebels: Wookiee

Imperial: not yet known...


Fleet Commander (gonna be the only class with ability to capture a capitol ship and only after completing a certain task. Also may have special interaction with command bridge)

Imperial Officer: (will be the "gray" skin as soon as a find out why it always comes out as a black silolette. I'll also give him new weapons but I'm keeping the mortar launcher.)

That's awesome! I'm going to love this map. Do the sabatuors have more health than normal and better weapons? I love the Fleet commander class as well, that's great.

(something I learned the hard way) Don't put too many objects in the map or things just lag horribly

I'm so happy that I figured out the shield thing. Now we can all use it in our maps (as you and I have).

Thanks a lot for the shields!

Also....introducing the imperial sabatuer: a seriously beefed up Dark Trooper

Weapons: Flechette gun (which will be modded to shoot like the one from Jedi Outcast), ARC caster (now modded to fry computer curcuitry), det packs, time bombs.

He keeps the jets and recieves a severe increase in health. (Basically now worthy of its title.)

P.S. Wookiee's giving up the mortar launcher for a modded emp launcher. (Low ceilings cause problems)

tie phantoms werent on RotJ, nor could you walk up to the reactor of the DSII >_>

that is the fun of games - you can do things you can't in the movies like "walk up to the reactor of the DSII" :wink:

That's not a DS2 reactor in the image above. It appears to be the reactor core for a Mon Cal.

he doesnt have the DSII in the map. i think is just gonna be part of the background. that is the reactor core for the cap ships. that probably will take for ever to get to, cause i think it said something about 400 or so in-game meters to get to it. lol. :wink:
