Is there a way to expand the map area beyond the default?

Load your level/map then click here...
Then here...
Then change the numbers in the yellow and blue areas then click on the green area...BAM!!! large map size.

Let me mention that everytime you enlarge your map size, the save wont be as stable/reliable as smaller map sizes.

Your map size must also be a power of two:
128x128
256x256
512x512
1024x1024 (Unstable)
2048x2048 (VERY UNSTABLE)

2048 would be massive. OMG. That is insane. Pretty much the size of the world. Also if you have objects placed then they are going to get moved and such, so it's probably best to change the size at the start of a project.

2048x2048 *MIGHT* have been used on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars (PS2/XBox) maps, but more than likely it was 1024x1024.

i've used 2048x2048 before for a ship battle over some mountains, i'll say this, it takes FOR EVER to texture the terrain becouse you often miss spots and the max visiblity is way to short, also you can only texture 100x100 at a time >.<
