do you mean completely from scratch? does unreal tournament use the same msh format etc..? creating a character model completely from scratch would be pretty tough but then skinning, animating etc... would be really, really advanced stuff. Softimage has a plugin (for the modtools) for unreal tournament, however not one for SWBF (Pandemic), there is however a completely seperate pandemic plugin that doesn't however work with modtools (great huh!) this would tend to suggest that the resulting msh created using the unreal or pandemic plugins may differ from what you expect or just be completely incompatible with SWBF .. I guess it may not even be a msh at all. Many people have been desperate for a Pandemic plugin that works with the modtools, if the unreal plugin works and can export models as a working msh format then let us know so we can all start using the free version of XSI.

um... If someone skins the weapons and guys and does all the models I could create the sides... but Saturn V can do all the above and more so... go with him.

well if any one wants to help me then just post here by the way i download the models in a .3d format and i know how to get that into a msh but if saturn v and if anyone else might be able to help this may turn out pretty good

hmm... I THINK I saw XSI could import/export with UnReal Models etc. so I'd try with XSI and import the models and save it as XSI and use XSI Foundations to export it into .msh files
and that's all - especially if you ALREADY have the models and skins for the UnReal Engine

Qdin, maybe a squeleton's modification would be needed to make UT models working with SWBF... It seems too easy to work properly...
