k i added the elextro staff odfs mshs and the common file in, but it cuases a crash.....i get this error:

P.S. i know it has something to do on how the maganguard wields :maulsaber: the staff

I think we've had this problem before and i hope it wasn't you.... It's definately something with the anims or combo... If you created them, you must know something about it and check it. If someone else created them; pm that someone!

well REIvEN sent the odfs, mshs, and common files to me....he must have the anim...but if anyone has a solution that can be put in today please psot in this topic.

What files are in the sides' munged folder? How is the combo named? If you could answer these i know if Reiven did something wrong

combos name that the staff cannot find is: magnaguard_sabre_stand_attack2c(_upper)
and the things in the sides munged folder are:
...well i can tell you nothing with the electro staff is in the sides folder (in cis for munged)
??? anything wrong ???

I have the exact same problem. I know... why don't we ask Teancum how he did it? Conversion Pack Magnaguard works fine.

assuming the odf of the electrostaff needs the darthmauls anims and combo, you should have cis_hero_darthmaul.combo in your odf folder, as well as maul.anims maul.zaabin maul.zafbin in your munged folder.
You should also probably take out the lines
SkeletonName = "magnaguard"
SkeletonLowRes = "magnaguardlz"
SkeletonRootScale = "1.24"
from cis_inf_officer.odf and put in
AnimationName = "maul"

You have to have modified anims for the magna to have its proper skeleton and mauls anims.

I tryed this out and the magna guard has some darth maul animations, but the electrostaff apears vertical next to him and not in his hands... Did i forgot a animation?
I added maul.anims, maul.zaabin and maul.zafbin animations to my data_ARB/sides/DRO/munged
and i added cis_hero_darthmaul.combo to the odf folder

First of all it think an anim is named ..._lightsabre ....msh and it has to be sabre
Also i think your odf calls for some firepoints which aren't on the model!...

I just use the standard magna guard model (taked needed objects from the assets/sides/cis) and try to chance hes weapon to a elektrostaff... so i didn't create a new model... U mean i could miss some odfs / msh's / tga's for the magna guard?
So i see only the magnaguard with the darth maul animations without elektrostaff..
I tryed like everything to get this unit working
And isn't there a tut for adding electrostaffs? Or can someone explain me step by step how to do this?

If you're adding him a electro staff, make sure you have the odf, the msh and tga's, the effects(if there) and the anims+combo
If you're creating it yourself, you'll have to create those (or just modify some assets)
