Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
It looks really nice. Some of the flat paneling is incongruous with the detail towards the rear/engines, but a good bump map could take care of that. Is this for anything in particular, or just practice?

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Yeah, nice models, ryu and elfie! And BTW, Gogie, I know that it won't work in BFII, but just outta curiosity, how many tris is that X-Wing?
EDIT: A new Personal Transport Shuttle that I made yesterday. Probably one of my best models in a while.

I need to retexture it for a project that is gonna be started soon. Also, except for certain parts of the texturing, the model is completely symmetrical.

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
No, lol. I decided to take the basic design of the imp shuttles and the MA-AT, but then it ended up looking like an imp shuttle and an X-Wing. But this stinks, because I exported it and only 4 of maybe its 7 textures show up

Lucasarts beat you to the design punch by about 15 yearsFluffy_the_ic wrote:No, lol. Work on those textures, though, they have very little detail - even using stock SWBF2 textures as bases would be preferable.

Re: Model Showcase Thread v3.0
Wow. Well, dangit. I always pictured missile boats to be something shaped more like an inflatable raft, but metal, larger, and has a cockpit. Yay for the word "boat!"
Actually, the textures are pretty detailed, I guess it's just kinda hard to see. A few are the textures from teh DMI prefab pack. (It was Rep that made those textures, right?) Although, I edited them. Except the window texture. I made that, and I admit that it kinda sucks. I have a multitude of other ones, but I didn't model a cockpit.
EDIT: Yeah, ingame, those textures are pretty detailed.
Not great quality pics, but hey.

If it's ever figured out how to get that as a weapon, I like it. Although it'd be taller than most buildings.

Simple, but nice
Here's:
Bounty Hunter Cad Bane
Made him for Tean, and the X-Box mod, but he might make an appearance in Battlefront Zero, since I think he's quite good looking! Pic below is nice, wireframe and other views in hide-box, quality of pic sucks! Enjoy!
