you can keep it in the water if its a hover i think. fragme did that with a submarine but i think that would belong in another thread.

Looks great!
I think that is based on the HUD from Republic Commando multiplayer mode, but I'm not too sure...
In any case, get me an Oreo please if I'm right...

Can't code all day, can I?
Just had some fun in ZBrush then decided to put it into UDK so whipped up some quick textures(5 min per texture; 1k textures, could have been a bit more for the stone thingy). The effect is one of UDKs effects.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Aight so I have been working on a tractor model. Being as I live on a farm, this is a tractor I own and felt like modelling. Please ignore the terrible textures.
As you can see, I have rounded pipes for the smoke stack and a pretty detailed staircase I guess...The red part anyhow. I thought they might be of interest to you guys and hence I have wires for them.
"stairway" wires:
the rounded smokestack wires. I rotated edges and polygons to the desired result. I didnt use a tutorial for the smokestack either.
And the tire wires.
As you probably noticed, my wires are pretty efficent. I am quite proud of my tractor aside from the texturing bit.
And my main reference:
Comments? And please dont mention the textures, I know they suck.

Pretty good so far.
I think that the front of the tractor could be a little bit higher up. Also, those tires could use some more detail.

I am planning to add more detail and eventually finish the textures. Its just gonna take a while to add the tire treads...Cerfon Rournes wrote:Pretty good so far.![]()

I do plan on doing a farm map. It will include the tractor, a combine, barn, haybales, etc. I will probably make the haybales destructable. As for the vehicles they will be props. As for animals, that would require anims and I dont have 5.11 so yeah.

Ma' frigate, the CDC Pheonix. Heavily inspired by Mass Effect's Normandy SR1 and SR2. Tons of design help and tips from MetroidNut.
Interiors coming soon.

Looks awesome Fiodis. Reminds me of the Normandy, so mission accomplished.

WULF, you don't even play Mass Effect.
Either way, great looking Norm-- I mean Phoenix, Fiodis!

I still know what the Normandy looks like. I had it as my desktop for awhile.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread 5th Edition
Amazing work on that model and texture, Fiodis.
EDIT
I was bored.
Made this quick 10 minute pistol just for fun.
I do not plan on getting it ingame, but If anyone wants It i'll send it to them, untextured.
This was made from 1 primitive.

Something I decided to work on over December just for fun.
Texture not totally finished. Yes it is the "new" generation of the Daleks.
