Regarding Emissive Color [Solved]
How come the object "bes2_bldg_square_bot1" and "bes2_bldg_square_bot2" have a shadow region attached to it? I tried hex editing the ATRB's but that didn't work.

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
Please post a screenshot of what it is you are referring to.
Hex editing material and "shadow regions" don't go together in any way, shape, or form.modmaster13 wrote:I tried hex editing the ATRB's but that didn't work.

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
That is not a shadow region.

After ATRB but on the hexadecimal side of the editor.
Re: Inside Edit Flags (FAQ)
Just turn off the emissive color on the corresponding materials it is applied to via hex editing.AceMastermind wrote:List of unknown hex found 5 places after ATRB in various msh files:

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
Now I have a strong feeling that this is gonna be just like the Rhen Var Ice Cave problem. I searched for that hex, but it wasn't found. The hex I found was:
Then I changed it to:
Something like that with either lightmap or glow alternative rendered.

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
Yes, that is true with bes2_bldg_square_bot1.msh but not with bes2_bldg_square_bot2.msh. I just opened up bes2_bldg_square_bot2.msh and found that the tenth, 11th, and 13th ATRB's had an 01. That 02 you found was applied to the windows, by the way.

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
Ok, I got the shadows inside, but the shadow won't show up on the wall:

Re: Unknown Shadow Regions
Look for the wall texture MATD, and do the same thing to it.
