I'm really getting in to TCW series now, and I can tell this mod is going to do it justice. Awsome work :thumbs:

Man i can't wait wait for this mod to come out. Awesome pic. Ya, i can see how the sentace could have been taken wrong bu it is hard to have tone when your only typing.

Update

Beta is really close, updated beta list. I may get it out sometime during the night. I still have a lot to do, animations to replace(new being replaced with stock till they are fixeed), getting all the scripts working, finalizing, blah blah blah, technical stuff :P

Attention beta testers. I didnt update all my script properly, and I apologize. Mustafar, Mos eisly, Pollis massa, and Myggeto work fine that I know of. I am fixing the mission.lvl and I will send the updated mission.lvl

The gameplay is very nice wulf, but even though i replaced the mission.lvl in the directory, kashyyyk, yavin and such still crash for me.

The units: The units are very fun to play as nommatter which you pick (IE: the chaingun the engi the carbine assisting units or the specialist etc) but i think the chaingun needs to be a bit more accurate to be accurate (hmm odd statement) and i find the regular EMP on the specialist a bit too "normal". I do love his secondary which is capable of taking units out of tanks and his portable sheild generator. I absolutely love the new grenade trail effects and the health/ammo regeneration effects you have added to this mod. The jedi seem to favor their force push a bit much, but now instead of annoying, it will kill you before it gets on your nerves. I always thought force push needed damage added to it, because it was unrealistic to go flying through the air and just get back up with no harm done. I noticed that you added different colors to your stamina and health bars which is always a nice touch as well.


Critique (or at least a bit more of it): You should link the ammo of the low power and high power modes on the dc15 blaster carbine (if you havent already), and shouldnt captain rex have a kama? he didnt while i was playing. Speaking of which, i do like the new C. Rex animations.
The droid leg still sticking out is kind of distracting.

While I really thank you for the critic, I wish you had refrained from mentioning visual things like the Kama and leg, both I mentioned in the PM not to mention in beta reports.

Sorry, but you mentioned that i should mention about gameplay, and im a "noticer" for odd things and it distracts from my gameplay, anyway to add more. The z-6 gunner on Hoth has no blasts coming out of his gun. the rocket launcher works fine though. For more gameplay on hoth, its kind of weird having the droids own the sheild generator which spawns them right next to the republic cp which is also there. I like your addition of the ctf tunnels to the main map though, but that cp doesnt count as one of the ones you need to capture.

On another note, your space is very nice with your addition of different republic vehicles to the rep side and the reduction of the marine units rocket launcher (which previously had made them a bit over powered towards units) the addition of the extra grenades keeps them more balanced towards the machinery within the ship, and allows the enemy infantry a chance at attack before you blast them to peices. I didnt thoroughly check until now, but i have realized that you DID link the ammo to the low and high power modes on the blaster carbine, but on the high power setting, you have two shots for every 1 ammo. I like the addition of the Hyena droid bomber as it makes much more sense than the odd greivous-like bomber. Funny how the droids actually tend to act how they do in the series (or at least your TCW style ones) and blankly look at you for a few seconds before realizing what they are supposed to do. It is odd how they do that, but most other classes of the droids blast you right off the bat. (the commando droids PWN). I do think Bossk needs an additional weapon, because his gun is somewhat hard to kill with, but it also could have been due to the fact i was facing captain rex and he called in 4 extra troops to bring me down =P
