How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
Ok so I exported my new model with its textures perfectly fine in XSI. When I opened it up in StarWars Battlefront Viewer the texture was kind of messed up. I then put the model ingame and it turned black. At the end of the munge I got two errors. Also im using XSI 7.5 and MshEx_beta3.

It's a directional light, right, and not just the sun FX? I'd also make sure it's casting specular and shadows, since, you know, suns typically do that.
EDIT:
Otherwise, then you either should increase the TGA's brightness (and contrast) or increase the value of the diffuse colors if you have the XSI ZE Tools.
Open the file in XSI with the revised and re-export it. You may have to check the UVs again.
XSI will rescale to the changed sized but it may not be perfect.
