Even though this map is far from finsihed, I enyjoy it and I think a WIP release would help speed things up. Quote from the readme:

Why am I realeasing such an unfinished map?
Although unfinished, it is still quite a lot of fun. Releasing a beta will encourage me finish it. It will also hoepfully ...encourage people to/reward people for... helping me. Also, it's got some semi interesting stuff such as semi animated spawns for realism.

Still a lot of work to be done, and campaign is really the only mode worth playing at the moment.
At the moment it's an objective based progression compaign for the republic, and all the CIS can do is get a normal conquest victory. The republic can fight for area supperoirty and lock out the CIS, and then move on to other battlefields. Well just one, the victory trigger on part two is broken.
I plan to implement a multiple-possiblilty two team campaign where by losing or winning a 'round' it get's harder for the loser to possibly win, and if winner has assets to fall back on if the lose. A more dynamic conquest mode.
I plan to implement a fully working race mode. You may notice the winding canyons and jungle paths and realize that this was originally designed for racing.

Unfortuanetly, the race mode with all the speeder bikes, starting gate and the course outlines is broken. load freeze see my next post.

Don't ask that question, it is against the rules. Most of the times mappers don't know and if they do, they'll post it.

I just played it and its really crazy. I'm not really sure what is going on in the level. I explored it with a jet trooper and found all this crazy stuff like ep2 troopers and a river thing that was awesome. I love the map for the beauty definetly. It really looks great, though I do get quite the lag. I'm guessing it's from the Bespin buildings and all those trees. Just needs more work on the Campaign part.

Wow! This map is big, and by "big" I mean there are so many places to explore. I see it has a long way to go, but it's an excellent start!

I grabbed a few screens from it while exploring in the Hero Assault mode (it's easier to explore with a jet pack), and after looking at the shots I got, this little story came to mind:

As for suggestions, here's some specific things that seemed most noticable to me.
- It's a big map, with a lot of places to get lost, so a minimap would help.
- Some walls kept appearing and disappearing.

- Add some mission text to the campaign mode so the two sides know what to do.

- and of course, fix the conquest mode (but I imagine you just haven't gotten around to that yet)

Besides those issues, I like the map. Keep up the good work! :D

Thanks for the river thing. Yeah, when I look at the trees i get lag. But I always do in all swbf2. I might refine sectors and protals later. That rvier thing is incomplte and you're not supposed to go there, unless you mean the lake with the water fall. TRust me, IM GOING to add objective voice overs or text to tell you what to do, but the main goal is to take all the cis cps or lowere thier reinforcments to three and keep it ther for 1:30 minutes. If neither of this happens in 5 minutes, a reinforcing battalion of 50 CIS troops will arrive, and again in another 5. The is a way to stop this by locking down this one building near the building up way high on the tat1_canyonwall .

WIth the 5 "elevators"

IT will be one of the voicefd objectives maybe, "go to the ***tern control buildign and locate the control room, access the correct console and lock down the city. " Once you capture this cp, it will physically trap the incoming cis (timed ambush spawn) in that building, and oyu have 30 seconds to get out the or you'll be trapped too. Try thining out the cis ranks with sniper/jedi or even riflemen for 3 minute the locking down, and then finishing them

Upon capturing all 3 cps or lowering the cis too thier perma-3 state for 1:30, a gunship will fly in and pick you up at the far cis command post.( NOt the one that lands on the ramp with the lower door when republic get the command post.)

@Archer:Yeah, there are lots of problems, but posting the mhere will help me forgoet about forgeting them. And at the moment, hero assualt as as boring as trying to kill someone with free cam. The elevators are truned off-thats not a jail, they are force field beam things to protect against squisihings. They retract.
The watery lake also has not one but two shadow regions for darkness at depth. Anymore would be too hard to aling and I'm not sure if more than one shawdow region can effect a player at once.
Ince finsihed, campagin should use a great deal of the map-the modes will be designed around the map becuase it's meant for racing. sorry there are no working speeders in this release. That was stupid, but I think updates will be frequent. This is a working beta.

Very good Work.In that Map i feel like an Adventurer.Nice to Explore.
In a Final Version with a Bulk of Trooppers that Map would be better than Zelda.How do you think about Ewoks in the Forrest and Tuskens in the Mountains and some Caves with Rancors in it. etc ? Only Ideas,so or so its a great Map.

But it is working only in Assault Mode.CW & GCW doesn`t work by me.
See to the Screens i made.I dont know whats the Problem.I read in other Posts that CW is playable.?!

Campaign Clone wars. You need Zerteds new shell.lvl to play it or to create a
multiplayer and type "addmap acec_c" or something like that.

wow.. such a cool map. but the place in the back of the map with the ep2 troopers everything is clear.

I took it down till the next version. By that I mean either I make asignificant amount of changes or I get race mode to stop freezing. Not crashing, but freezing.

Freezing is always caused by an infinite loop of some sort (on the software side anyway). Do you have anything in your scripts that might start executing but never finish?

Hmmm... I don't see anything either... But then again, I script my stuff slightly differently, so I might be missing somthing myself.

When does it freeze? At the same spot each time, or randomly? If "randomly", is there anything going on in the level that is common between the different freezes?

You mean the New shell.lvl from Conversion Pack 1.7? Thats a Problem! This Shell works with the US CD Version,but not right with the German DVD Version.I have present the Problem The Game works with this new Shell but only with the common.lvl from Update1.1 And Game crashes after finishing a Map.
