Why am I realeasing such an unfinished map?
Although unfinished, it is still quite a lot of fun. Releasing a beta will encourage me finish it. It will also hoepfully ...encourage people to/reward people for... helping me. Also, it's got some semi interesting stuff such as semi animated spawns for realism.
Still a lot of work to be done, and campaign is really the only mode worth playing at the moment.
At the moment it's an objective based progression compaign for the republic, and all the CIS can do is get a normal conquest victory. The republic can fight for area supperoirty and lock out the CIS, and then move on to other battlefields. Well just one, the victory trigger on part two is broken.
I plan to implement a multiple-possiblilty two team campaign where by losing or winning a 'round' it get's harder for the loser to possibly win, and if winner has assets to fall back on if the lose. A more dynamic conquest mode.
I plan to implement a fully working race mode. You may notice the winding canyons and jungle paths and realize that this was originally designed for racing.
Unfortuanetly, the race mode with all the speeder bikes, starting gate and the course outlines is broken. load freeze see my next post.
