Re: RAS Prosecutor: Hangars
I do enjoy
Looks great, as always. Although, and I hate to nitpick, but everything looks so awesome, and then there are the gunships...
I think you can see my point. When you have awesome stuff, it makes the not awesome stuff look even less awesome than the awesome stuff.
Dangit acryptozoo beat me! *hears acryptozoo giggle*

and thanks for the comments. we havent planned to make a new laat, AQT made the glass envmapped and i added seats from the utagunship to the bubbles and split the doors into 3 parts like in rc (thats hardly noticeable)

Re: RAS Prosecutor: Hangars
The gunships are definitely sore on the eyes compared to the rest of the map, but that is hardly something to complain about.
This map is by far the most visually pleasing piece of work I have ever seen in my Battlefront playing days!
I could throw together a specular map for the LAAT if you want me to. It would really help, I think. Or is somebody else already on it?
EDIT: The env-map looks a little on the strong side pertaining to the LAAT. Perhaps Hex it to use a different map and then taking down the brightness might help a bit. (Env-map textures are additive, so any shade of black is simply subtracted-so don't worry about your glass turning dark
)

Re: RAS Prosecutor: Hangars
@Fiodis: Not to worry; here is the third screenshot.

Hidden/Spoiler:
The envmap is too strong on the cockpits or the turret balls? If the turret balls, then I don't think it is, considering they aren't shining like crazy. The specular intensity value is pretty low actually. Yes, they are using a different envmap texture that was specifically made for this map by DarthD.U.C.K.. And yes, I do realize a completely transparent object with an envmap applied would still be visible due to the envmap texture. I might not be understanding what you are trying to ask/tell, though...The Nasal Abyss wrote:The env-map looks a little on the strong side pertaining to the LAAT. That is a possibility. Thanks, but we can probably take care of it if needed.I could throw together a specular map for the LAAT if you want me to. It would really help, I think. Or is somebody else already on it?

This is looking extremely good! If it wasn't for the gunship, I would think it's a newer engine.

Re: RAS Prosecutor: Hangars
Here are a few screenshots relating to a weapon featured in this map: The Wookiee Bowcaster.
The bowcaster can be charged up to fire multiple quarrels at once. The quarrels it fires bounces off most surfaces but explodes on impact when it makes contact with units.

Re: RAS Prosecutor: Hangars
You know, I didn't mention it before since it wasn't really a bug, but - it didn't fire multiple sticky quarrels in RC, did it?
