That would be great if you could make a capital ship pointing downwards but inside it would have a gravity generator. But sadly Pandemic chose to go for the less ambitious route.

Anyway im assuming you are going to releace the interior'ed ships for use to others?

Theres prolly a million uses for them.

Yeah, if you multi select allt he objects and save them as a group and release them after you release a map, that would be so much appreciated. :) You couldn't not include CPs with it so your work wouldn't be totally copied when people used the same interiors.

In the trailers before swbf2 was released, there was a capital ship burning and falling down.
Was it fake or was it taken out?
Because if it was taken out, we can put it back in now we got more than one capital ship per team.

how many turrets are on each ship?

in my battle over coruscant map each ship has over 70 turrets just on one side of it

yeah, those ones. they're only graphics, on some maps you can fly right up to them and even through them. They're in a couple of ground maps as well, Coruscant for example.

I probably will but it'll be one of the last things done.

I probably will after the map is finished and released. I wouldn't wish the task of creating an interior on my worst enemies.

Wow, battle over coruscant has those turbo lasers and it's intense! If yours have that then the party shall never end! :D

Progress:

-Star Cruiser has multiple shield generators (scripting it was bang-your-head-against-the-wall hard)
-more work on the interiors
-scripting various effects when critical systems are destroyed

xwingguy, any way to adjust the color of the outer white edge of the forcefield on the hanger. The bright white color looks so out of place, could you possible make them a diffrent color to match the capital ships they are on. Maybe a grey color for Empire or some sort of brown/tan for the Rebels. Just to blend them in and not let them be an eye sore.

In an old BFII screens there was an SSD with barely visable shields with a thin edge

That looked awsome, but then they made then crapy lookin.

In ROTJ the sheilds just had light sileuits around them. But yah if you want to fix the sheilds xwing that that would be awsome.

P.S. xwing you forgot your "motivation to destroy systems" in progress- :wink:

tuskenjedi, i believe he means, that when one shield generator is destroyed, it aint going to matter, because the shields will still be up when the second generator kicks in...
