Re: Republic Commando WIP
Looking great! I think the head might be a bit too long in the vertical direction, though.

Re: Republic Commando WIP
Thanks. It does appear that the head is tall, I think my screen resolution (1280 X 800) is making it look normal to me (the pictures are 1024 X 768), or its the other way around...CressAlbane wrote:Looking great! I think the head might be a bit too long in the vertical direction, though.

Re: Republic Commando WIP
Nice you changed the visor it looks much better now imo
Your should adjust the shoulder polsters towards the body so they don't hang on the sides of the arms when the arms are in normal position. Also you could round the edges of the shoulder polsters (either by texture or by the model). At the moment they don't look as thick as they should be on a armor like this.
The helmet could use small adjustments. First the top round bit should be a little more flat/shallower. Second the sides are not that inclined as you made them. Tilte them only a little bit and it will look more like it.
And last but not least, do not forget the vibroblade
.
I am sorry if this sounded like I was nitpicking (which probably is true
), but I only want to give you the advice you asked for.

Really nice work. And the new visor is much better.
But try bigger armor and darker textures. You will marvel what you can do with higher contrast.
keep it up.
p.s. have a look at these:

Here are your skins in-game Anakin:
I think I still need to improve the legs and feet, those areas got the least attention so far.
-EDIT-
Here's another backpack addon (solid and textured):

Re: Republic Commando WIP
I like it a lot, but judging from your ability, I think you're capable of so much more. This is a good base mesh to start with, but I think if you were to take just a half hour and focus on one specific area of the model(ie. helmet, hands, torso, ect.) you could create something that can really blow our minds.
Good work, and I'm expecting very good things out of you.

Re: Republic Commando WIP
Yes! That looks fantastic! That is some real quality work there, my friend! If you can add that same level of detail to the rest of your model, your end piece is going to be absolutely fantastic! I look forward to seeing more!Nedarb7 wrote:Thanks! Here is the new foot I've been working on:Hidden/Spoiler:
Edit: I might be crazy, but the scaling of the model looks a little funky. Here's the human....uhh....proportions. If you use these as a reference you should be able to get a good well-scaled model. I believe that even the stock clone trooper doesn't line up with this exactly, but this should get you close to where you need to be.
