Crazy geometry? Meshtool>Softimage
Hi, i downloaded softimage this morning, but this problem also occured when i put it in milkshape... and I was wondering how to get rid of this:
there are weird lines and stuff all through the model, (which is acemastermind's symmetrical stormtrooper)
but it also happend with the standard storm and shock troopers. is there a way to get rid of this?

these lines are the shadowvolume you have to weld boundary poins/edges with a tolerance of 0,001 on the model then you can select the model/sv witht he polygonisland selection or by selecting one poly and frowing the selection and then extracting the obkect

Re: Crazy geometry? Meshtool>Softimage
i suppose you created a new texture projection
simply leave that part out and only apply the texture, the model will use the original UVs then
