UV-Mapping/Texturing Q

Post by Maveritchell »

Once you've made a UV map, and then fiddled around with the points locations in the Alt-7 menu, is there anyway to reset the points (read: create a fresh texture map) to where they originally were? I can't do this, even when I change the composition of the model.

Also, is there an easier way than just selecting, dragging, and dropping to get same-size pieces to match up on your texture map?

if you want to delete a UV map you can find its property under the clusters node nested under the mesh.

i dont no if this is completely accurate but i [think] that if you press alt+5 and then go to render you can then click on clear all clusters and then clear all materials. thats off the top of my head so sorry Mave'

sorry if this isnt what you want....
