I understand that the resources of BF0 will not be released yet. I referred to an independent model, any model or someone interested in doing so.Darth Revan wrote:You could request Mandereks Herosifhe was ok with it?

The Tri-Droids fit perfectly in with the map. This map just keeps getting better.

Re: Christophsis Battle (Crystal City)
It does indeed look good, however, there is something wrong with the lighting. All those blue crystals don't seem to affect the light on the streets, it's dark and sterile there. I haven't watched the clone wars movie so I don't know how Christophsis looks like, so correct me if I'm wrong, but there should be a light blue glow over the ground. If those things are indeed crystals, then the light hitting them should be sprawling all over the place.
Also, the rubble on the ground looks like plastic it needs more transparency.
Everything else is contributing to an apparently flawless ambient, nice job.
Edit: I made a google image search for Christophsis and found out the crystals behave much like you made them: as if they were opaque, simple blue rocks. Your map is a faithful recreation.
I would simply delete this post since it is now of no importance, but I feel the need to say the lighting in Christophsis doesn't make much sense to me, it's unrealistic. Then again, it's star wars.

I do not understand a lot of beta versions, but if you mean a version that could be improved later, then it is a beta version.
This Tri-droid is a automatic turret, the model is just to give it some realism, but nothing more, anyway, the important thing is that there is.... ¿no?

you should not say this:B.I.G_Cookie wrote:Yeah love the Tri-droid I think it looks even better than the bf0 version
1) because you have not yet tried it.
2) because MandeRek has spent a life-time on it (creating animation too).

I said it LOOKS better from the optic, because I think its more detailed and the texture is better.. and I didn't say anything about the gameplay.

Re: Christophsis Battle (Crystal City)
Guys, his model looks really good!
Better than mine, for sure.. It has more detail on small things, although I think our main texture on the head is better. Still, the rest is better of this model. Besides I made anims and stuff, I think Forcemaster really did a great job on finding a great way of making a Tri-Droid which will be functional, in a way.. Sometimes a huge walker can be frustrating, and a turret is fun
My point here: Great job Forcemaster
, you did an awesome job. Model is certainly better than main, and the question remains if a walker will certainly improve the gameplay

Re: Christophsis Battle (Crystal City)
Thank you all for your interest in this project.
With regard to Tri-Droid: I know that my model will not reach the playability of the MadeRek bencause it has no animation, but as I said from the start: this is to recreate the scene, not to compete for who has a better model for this. I agree with MadeRek when he says that a walker can be hard work, and I've raised and while not in my possibilities that I do is devoted to a project of this magnitude.
Guys, this is SWBF, a game, not a competition over who has or does better models, just fun to share gametoast just that. So have fun, take a game, nothing more.
