lol. you know, if you get one of those camera tripods that have a handle you can make it look like a minigun. Great idea and very accurate model.

offtopic: so, your still in the making of Ahsoka Tano? if you can, you should try to make the older version of Ahsoka and the Shinto-like backhand lightsaber, it would look and be EXTREMELY cool with a new animation combination and the original backhand lightsaber!

Fraps squished it a bit, dumb wide screen.
Hidden/Spoiler:
The Vulture droids have a different flight and landed position. If that can be transfered to walkers you might be able to make it crouch when nobody is in it.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
Unfortunately as far as I know only hovers and flyers can have "takeoff" animations and I am not even sure about hovers.
But in the mean time another bad quality fraps video of the walker in game. Have most of the animations done just need to do turnl and turnr. Forgive the texturing job, it was just a very quick and ugly job but it was better than untextured white.

It's a nice clean animation, but I don't think it has the bird-like qualities that the two-legged walkers tended to have. Especially with this walker having the three bird-like "talons" on the feet - it should sway a bit more and almost grasp at the ground. Not that I am one to criticize (having shamelessly reworked the AT-ST animations for mine), but there you are.FragMe! wrote:But in the mean time another bad quality fraps video of the walker in game. Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
I agree with the grasp the ground bit, I will probably change the skeleton (again) to make the side toes do a bit more to create the illusion. As for the sway though, mechanically it can't do it the construction of it is different from the ATRT and ATST and doesn't really lend itself to sway.
That is the mechanic in me talking.
Also having watched video of Ostriches, boy do I need to get a life, which is the closest in leg constuction, they actually don't have a lot of body sway especially when running.
But as always I like to hear comments so everyone feel free but be somewhat nice.

2 characters I created in the last time:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIDyt2bT2uk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb-c9dAYy4Y
Especially the "knight's" cloth turned out really good(except maybe the boots), the girls cloth is IMO solid quality, too. Sadly the faces(the eyes) didnt turn out so well, you most likely wont notice it on the girl, but the polypaint on the knight is bringing his (too big?, too wide opened?) eyes out even more(gr?). Practice makes perfect...
