I like it all.ANDEWEGET wrote:We, the RAS Prosecutor Team, have, in unison, decided to do our best at trying to half the amount of lazyness and triple the amount of...screenshots!Its still visible that this is WIP(not-UVed parts etc) but I dare say the environment is getting close to finished. Alright, but that doesn't really answer my question, I wanted to know if they will use the TRandoshan Merc and The Elite Merc models for their CIS side.Darth_Spiderpig wrote:Which means the do not use the one Neomarz made and not the one from Republic Commando.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:we neither use neomarz's nor the one ripped from rc

You know you can just turn light bloom off right? Its an option in the start menu.Eaol wrote: Except for the excessive bloom from the lights. I don't think it's necessary. The glow from the shield warning lights is one thing, but for the regular lighting to be as bright as the sun is totally different. It looks unprofessional (the bloom effect in Star Wars Battlefront II isn't really that good in my opinion, anyway). If I were in charge, I would ease off a bit on the bloom coming from those top lights. You can really tell how fake it looks when an object is partially obscuring the light source - it looks nothing like a real lens flare. This is especially apparent on the second image with the track passing in front of the warning lights.
A better specular map would be nice for the LAAT/i gunships to fit in the realistic environment. Also, desaturating the Geonosis discoloring on their hulls would make it much more fitting with the overall grey lighting. The beige-yellow tint doesn't fit here.

Yes, of course.MrCrayon wrote:Are there going to be new effects for damage or something?

Nah, it's quite alright.Twilight_Warrior wrote:I like how neither AQT nor DarthD.U.C.K. have posted in 12 days and you guys are STILL soliciting unnecessary additions and spamming the topic.
No, that would be against the Site Rules. We never planned to use those unit types for this map at all. All the units/sides have already been presented at the following two links:Herrmann wrote:I wanted to know if they will use the TRandoshan Merc and The Elite Merc models for their CIS side.
The glow intensity can be reduced, but we're not really going for realism here. Thanks for your input.Eaol wrote:If I were in charge, I would ease off a bit on the bloom coming from those top lights. You can really tell how fake it looks when an object is partially obscuring the light source
It doesn't have a specular map yet, but it will.Eaol wrote:A better specular map would be nice for the LAAT/i gunships
No... I'm pretty sure that's the actual color of a gunship...Eaol wrote:desaturating the Geonosis discoloring on their hulls would make it much more fitting with the overall grey lighting. The beige-yellow tint doesn't fit here.
If you are implying these textures and models were ripped from RC, then you are sadly mistaken. ANDE and D.U.C.K. did a great job on them, respectively.MrCrayon wrote:I want to take the time to say that I noticed the way you textured the objects...looks like the objects in RC.

actually, you cant turn this bloom off.MrCrayon wrote:You know you can just turn light bloom off right? Its an option in the start menu.

I didn't imply anything. What I am saying is:AQT wrote: If you are implying these textures and models were ripped from RC, then you are sadly mistaken. ANDE and D.U.C.K. did a great job on them, respectively.
