How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
Finally finished the Republic Commando. The texture still needs alittle work, but I did what I could with it. Just need to finish up the Backpacks, which will be addon .mshs along with other gear, for fully customizable commandos. The cool part is it only takes 5min or less to munge, and it is rigged an weighted perfectly so nothing moves wrong.

Addon msh backpacks!
Just thought I'd say THANK YOU!
Commando looks nice too.
Looks nice, very nice.
Bearing in mind this comes from someone who never played RC, he looks a tad... Unbulky? But I suppose with a buch of addons he won't be for long.

Its the missing pack. People aren't used to seening RCs without them. :p I increased the width of the torso armor, the arms are slightly larger and so are the legs. Side by side with a normal trooper the differences are easily seeable. Oddly enough, I had to shorten the height of the helmet to make the proportions look correct (otherwise, he'd have a massive forehead):?
I'll put it in SWBF 2 if people want me to and someone tells me how to
Kotor-ish pig axe!
Looks nice.
It needs to be alligned to the Z axis, a null where it will be held, at 0,0,0, AKA move the model to the null.
And a null (I think) alittle above the holding point to be the fire point.
That pistol is too cool. Now, if only [blank] would only send me his models, BFX would be on par with The Battlefront Project... BTW, when researching for BFX, I realized that it's not Thire in CW:V2, it's "Commander Fordo".
Only thing I can think of that looks bad is where the different models meet. Delete thosep olys and create new ones to make it seem like if it was only 1 mesh instead of 3 separate pieces. I love the legs tho, look very nice.
