I was working on one of those, seems a bit too high for this game but could probably be optimized some.

That kind of model isn't meant to be put in the game. It's meant to bake detail down to a lower poly mesh. Either that or not be used for a game at all.

It's for FSX and not SWBF2, and its art guidelines target craft from 10-20k (and they can easily be pushed to 25-ish). This is only about 11.5. I could optimize it by removing some modeled detail and just throwing it into a normal map, but I had the freedom to push the polycount, so I did. If I end up using it in SWBF2, I'd redo the UVs and just use it as a highres source for an AO/normal.

Nice T-16 Mav! :) Oh, and 11.5k polies isn't too high for Zero. :P

Still, I would enjoy seeing an ingame pic of that in FSX.

That's "Textured Decal," which you can see in the image if you look closely. It's just got its AO set as the texture.

Working on that but for JA, figured wouldn't have to be for SWBF1/2 since everyone seems to just be posting whatever in this thread.

^The small details should be textured on, wont be noticed if it is vs modeled, too small.

On another note, wow, someone actually uses the mod tool layout? Always hated it.
