How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
nice otana fragme!
(a little bit lowpoly in my opinion)
are you going to texture it and if you texture it, do you want to texture mine too? picture of mine
Here is my third model. The Bolter Pistol from Warhammer 40K.
Offtopic: I got three questions:
Hidden/Spoiler:
1. Is the nulls where they are supposed to be?
2. Does the gun point the right way?
3. I cant get this ingame. Im not good at odf editing so can someone tell me what I need to do to make this work?

Today, we were trick or treating (never too old for free candy) and this kid jumps out at us with a chainsaw and a mask, 2 of my friends scream and I stand there, and then by the smell, I realize its a real chainsaw. Luckily it had no chain.
You should. . I love modeling. It's fun. Shouldn't this topic be locked now anyways? or have we got another page left? I MUST get the last post for some reason.
This is my model of a hovercraft...I haven't reduced polygons yet so theres alot. Anyway, I haven't really worked on this one for a bit now so I thought I'd try working on it again. The rotor on the back is rigged already.
It's fairly good. What I would recommend for next time though is using less individual shapes, is that what you call them in XSI? The basic shapes is what I'm aiming at. Use less of those mainly because it makes your models look smoother and all flowing together.
Hey Fai22 go into your weapons .option file and put
-scale 0.5
that would make it half size. Fool around with the -scale (number) and see what size works. . Hope this helps.
@fai222 you would need an msh.option file with the following in it:
-scale 0.25
to create one just use a text editor put the above line in it and save it as thenameofyourmodel.msh.option
Not that there is anything wrong with the size of the gun
@DarthD.U.C.K I did have a higher poly front part but it didn't look right until I went back and looked at the reference picture and noticed I had the cockpit wrong anyway so here the the newer version with the cockpit the only thing textured so far just to show it off.
