It has been awhile since I looked into making my own models. That begin said, I needed to refresh my memory on the tools needed to do it, and that left me a bit confused. So, I have two statements that I need clarified:
1. A SWBF2 prop model can be made using almost any modeling software provided that you put the model into the correct SWBF2 format, right?
2. A SWBF2 player model (character that you control) has to be put through XSI at some point in the modeling process, right?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Questions about modeling
That enough of an answer, becasue I am almost positive that you can make props using something other than XSI.

Re: Questions about modeling
You can also make props easily using Milkshape 3D with Bconstructor, it allows for easy prop setup and export.

Re: Questions about modeling
And you can also use Blender and export those models through SWBFviewer into .msh's. (only for props as well)
