I have made a video of the map for my clan,a couple of days ago.
The quality of it is a lil poor, but its cause of the upload page.

Here's an idea, you could put more baddies in the dungion and make it run smoother if instead of giving them Cp's, you just put in ambush regions and script it like that.

I also think that the unit count needs to go up just a little more, so you don't have to go looking for people.

WOW!!!! Awesome map!!!! The only problem I had was finding a way out after killing those spider things. It took me forever to find a way out.
I like your idea for having the Fairy places so that you can heal.

The lil' spiders, based on queen Gohma, but they're small ones

Makes no sense though, they only have 2 legs

The only way to get the spiders to work was to use thea ackly's animations and skeleton. Make sense now?

Err that's not how I did it. That would require me to know every name of the Acklays bones (which I could do with BConstructor) then make up new bone in XSI and a ton more work!

All I did was use the unit template beta and envelope every other leg to the Trooper's animation on opisite sides. ;) I know pretty clever! :P

I just spent a really good chunk of time playing LOZ. I am even more impressed than I originally was! I haven't found the spider yet, but I did come across Shadow Link. Tough fight. I especially love the 'credits wall', if you will. Props for that. I might have to find a way to do that.

Thanks! You'll have to try the spiders out! (There is a hidden exit in the spider's lair if you defeat them)

To create the text I used the Create>Text>Planar Mesh tab under model in XSI. You can do 3d text aswell.

Glad ya enjoyed the map.

i found everything and beat it, it's a cool map but it's a little too open for my taste and there's less action going on outside than they're shoud be, but the shadow links and the spiders are cool, im still trying to figure out what those weird underground wells are tho, do they just give u health or something?

when you do defeat them and go in the path you should add that sound from the games when you unlock a door blow up a wall etc. and i like killing shadow link from there :P[/quote]

Ah! Vyse! I got your "Fairy Well" fairy. Reskin the Geonosian wings, then slap em on Leia  and make her a prop :D ... Now that I think about it though, I don't think you can specify a skeleton for a prop. She'd be all stretched out.

Or... lol, I guess if it's possible, make the fairy with a recon droid model... as temporary, or how will that work? Lol. Just skin it to be very very bright lol I dont know. Just whatever is possible.

If it doesn't work out really, lol, Teancum's idea is more...better. :P My idea is sort of noobish. lol

My idea for the Fairy Fountains was to simply recolor the Felucia spores to pink and have'm float around in the wells.

Great job on the map, I'm a huge zelda fan and this map really earned the name of "Zelda" in it. The details like the fairy well, and dungeon were amazing. Im going to be playing this map for a long time.

One pronlem i found is when you damage the "Nulls" (spiders and shaddow links) if they kill you, or you run away, after a while theyll randomly die. Has any one else found this?
