This map is beautiful! Amazing acuracy and it looks almost exactly like the movie almost. (especially those tunnels)

The death star is definently coming along, I have some questions/suggestions-

1) You MUST to put the laser dish on it, or it doesnt look like the DS.
2) When you add the dish i had an idea. Put a little unnoticable turret in the middle, and give a green laser (like the current mon calamari one) that has exremely high power (probely as high as you get it) so it has some fireing action (this would be freakin SWEET!)
3) You might want to look into making hanger in the DS, if it possible/ not to much bother

still working on the tunnel run and yes I am trying to get 2 directions.As for the Death Star,I will look into the laser dish idea,seems like a cool one.

how is it for lag?
the current file size is 152mb!I have not noticed any slow down while playing but I still have alot more to add.Tunnels nearly complete with a junction which has one tunnel to the reactor and another that returns to the surface.This one is very tricky to fly in but can be done.It wasn`t that easy in the movie was it?Added some varity to the tunnels aswell.Only one new screen shot today.

Death Star I v2 has a file size of 94mb but as a zip file comes in around 34mb.Don`t know if there is a maximum file size for a map before it becomes unplayable or fails to load.Guess I`ll find out the hard way!

Lookin better by the minute! Only thing - just make sure that the tunnels aren't too massive - like the trench was. While you don't want to get to the reactor right away, at the same time you don't want to be movin at a crawl because of the size of the tunnel. Just a friendly piece of advice!

Hopefully I have got the tunnel size right.You don`t get to the reactor straight away and there is a choice of tunnels to take,one to the reactor and the other back to the surface via a very tricky maze.To build the tunnels has been abit of a pain so I hope everybody will be happy with them when this map is released.

sorry about the lack of updates.Been trying a couple of new ideas which did not work out.There is still alot of map making still to do before I start tweaking etc.I want to capture the look and the feel of the final battle in the saga just right.

I have not been happy with the look of the rebel hanager on the Mon Cal ship for a while now.Been working on a better version,what do you think of this(please not the Falcon is just a prop!)

Looks good. Obviously could use some tweaking (sharper textures, definatly some better lighting) but it reminds me of the movies.

Did you model it or just reskin a previously made one?

just a re-skin.I have no modeling tools or skills,I`m just using what is already in the game,the trick is and this is what takes alot of time is looking in alll the shipped worlds to find the right parts.

Well once again, it looks good.

my suggestion is to angle the ships around (so they arent all facing straight forward, obviously the ai cant handle much of a rotation, but just a bit) and try using the glow thing to add glow to that big light.

Definatly sharpen up the textures a bit as well (or are you playing on low settings?)
