Downloaded can't get it to work though I unzipped and copied to Addon but its not showing up on my map list in SWBF2. Anyone got any ideas?

Great map alot of fun, only thing not sure it's my PC but to the Starfighters still have no sound on them? all the rest is perfect though

Off-topic : Frag', have you checked the content of your "AddOn" folder after the extraction of this map's ZIP Archive, so that to be sure all files it contains have been placed in the right path ?

Like I said to someone else before, you might have to make a folder to place the two files you unzipped into. The folder I believe should be called SAL. You create that folder, place the two files in that, then place that SAL folder into the "addon" folder. (I said the exact same thing on page 4 :?)

There is also at least one wall glitch I ran into. I noticed the Emperor heading up this hill and decided to see what was up there... I'll let the pics speak for themselves...

Now... in the last image, my character got stuck. The first time I ran into this bug... I went through a crack between the ground and the wall/mountain. Think maybe you have the terrain too close to the edge of the map or something.

Mine? I wouldn't know whats wrong with mine. My brightness might be higher then others, I dunno.

The terrain in your screenshots looks extremely strange, Y2G. I hope no one thinks that's what it looks like in the real map or I might lose some interest, lol.

Thanks for looking out for bugs, I believe I got around to fixing that yesterday. I'll also see if I can put in speederbikes and scout fighters on hero assault. Vehicles are definitely needed for CTF modes.

I'd still appreciate any help towards getting the sounds to work for my vehicles.

mazda its a grat map fun to play, my only problems are that you cant really fight as infintry to slow,
the only way i got them or heros to work was by putting them in a speeder or ship, and landing it
near an wenemy cp. It is a lot of fun to fight infintry with speeders, and to fight starships vs ground vehicles
takes a long time to play lol.

I've added more speeders. This map is supposed to be a vehicle fight, and once you are forced to abandon your mode of transportation, you will need skill and strategy to find cover and hold off an aerial or ground attack.

is it possible to put ers in, an ariel strike would be cool.
also you should have as many intercepters as fighters for the imps,
the ratio at the best starfigther spawn spot is about 8 figters to 1
intercepter. If you put ers in only have about two or else everyone would be ing.

*shrugs* Well... thats what it looks like for me. It could be my video card, but I doubt it.

All the other maps look the way they should be.

I really didn't pay much mind to it for the simple fact that I didn't know it wasn't suppose to be that bright.

Now... I don't know if my video settings have something to do with it or what. I'll check them right now, but again, I doubt thats the problem either.

And I don't think my version of the map is out of date. I'll look into it though, I guess.

EDIT: Here are my video settings if you want to compare and contrast...

Brightness: 50
Contrast: 50
Vsync: Off
View Distance: 20
LOD Distance: 20
Resolution: 800 x 600
Antialiasing: Off
Texture Detail: High
Water Quality: High
Shadows: Off
Lighting Quality: High

Just a side note... I'm not posting this to be a wise crack or anything. Just want to see what my problem is. I don't want to be playing a map that doesn't look right, especially if I can do something to fix/change it.

Oh yeah, I understand. I just want you to be able to experience the terrain of Saleucami, lol.

I don't see any problems in your configuration or anything. Have you tried increasing your LOD and view distance a bit? If you tinker with the brightness and contrast, does it look better?

Didn't bother to mess with anything yet I'll check it out then though.

My main concern is if I change my configurations just for this map... who knows what the other ones will look like.

I think I have improved the appearence of the map, but if I did... its hardly noticable. lol

I restored the defaults. Still looks about the same.

No, not yet. I've been implementing some other changes to the map to improve it. Sound must be done before v1.1 is released though. As soon as I find a link to Psychofred's tutorial, I'll see what I can do.
