XSI - Z-fighting and awkward polygons [Solved]
I am creating a test model of an accurate standard homosapien human being; the torso, head and the right and left arms and legs are all separate objects. I went to Create>Poly. Mesh>Merge and checked "Blend" with the torso and the head selected since they were both far enough complete for merging them to make sense, and I noticed some Z-fighting in the torso and the head alone when I rotated the model; also, err, this happens when I try to scale points inward.

Silly question, did you hide and/or delete the original unmerged meshes?

No; how would I go about selecting the original unmerged meshes to delete them if the merged meshes are covering them?FragMe! wrote:Silly question, did you hide and/or delete the original unmerged meshes?

open xsi explorer in one of the work windows, find and select the unmerged meshes and press H to hide them or Del to delete them. Freeze the merged mesh prior to deleting the originals though.
