Well i think they move way to slow, the main two guns should shoot a little slower then the ARC-170, and the co-pilot should have control of the wing beam guns. And one more thing the flying it should be like driving a tank. (Same controls)

It's easy to make except that part.
hm, maybe increasing the speed a lot and the hover height would make it work, but then it will always be on that height, even if no one's controlling it.

I think means the LAAT should act like it did in SWBF1, where it hovered idly if you didn't press anything and could fly in reverse when you press down.

Mine do act more like the BF1 gunships, but they cant strafe in BF2. Since there are no stock maps with gunships(other than my super customized hoth), you will only get to fly them when you are playing the stock space maps. Exspansion packs will include maps with gunships in ground battles

They are not really heroes, they are just unlockable units. I havent decided on a final point number for them, I think 20 is good because thats the same as my random cis ultra units

im not sure, but on one of my maps, i used an alternaate laat from the stock (the kamino one perhaps...) and it had the controls of swbf1. im not sure exactly which one though.

Its a matter of changing a few speed paremeters, its not hard. But you still cant strafe in BF2, the code was lost when they were programing in the trick moves like barrel rolls and split s

hmm well, the stafing does not work, you are correct, but if you use the kam_fly_ride_gunship odf, it has the backing up and only moves forward when you want it to.

He is talking about my Rylot: Nabat 1.0v map, it has an early beta version of the era sides. It was my first map, was mainly useing it as a testing ground.

The skins arent that great, weapons have been changed, stuff like that.
