Release:
Halo Wars Limited Edition: February 26-March 3rd, depends on your location (US is the 3rd)
Marketplace: Unknown, although there have been rumors about March 31st
Maps:
Assembly-
"The Covenant war machine continues its march to conquest; even with its severed head it is still dangerous"
A small map, good for 2-8 players on Slayer or other Free-for-All gametypes. It appears to be circular, and is symmetrical, except for the small differences, the pinball-inspired crates on one side and the rough metal on the other. It looks like a smaller Halo Wars-style Covenant base. Except for the Scarabs being built over your head.

Orbital-
"With a lot of situational awareness, and a lot of luck, hopefully the only thing you will lose is your luggage"
Medium-sized awesomeness. Remember the Cairo station in Halo 2? Picture it in Halo 3 graphics with no annoying camera drones or Johnson. 4v4 team games, like slayer, 1-flag, and assault work best. Watch out for the easy-to-walk-into pits though, they are not forgiving.

Sandbox-
"This endless wasteland still holds many secrets. Some of them are held more deeply than others."
This map is just indescribable. It's more like, three maps, than one. The Ground Floor, by default, is set up like Battle/Beaver Creek from the first to games, which is great, but what makes this map great is the fact that there are limitless possibilities of what you can make here. I plan to make two maps on the Sky Bubble. One will be Boarding Action, the Halo 1 map. The second will be a version of Bespin Platforms (obviously changing a few details, adding ground vehicles for instance). Seeing as the Sky Bubble's feature is its hugeness and fall damage, they are possible. The crypt is good for Grifball (shown at bottom) or smaller maps that people would make on Foundry (it's the same size). Changes from Foundry are the 700+ objects you can make (although, the game stops you at 640, you don't want the game to freeze, now, do you?
