Hes a bit too "bulky" for my taste, but looks very nice. For the boots you could just use some army boots photos apply the way theyre done to your boots. In a game like swbf this boot model with a bit of texture work done will look ok.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
Now, I'm way more confident to say that I'm now done with the model. Now to seriously texturing it
(UV map is already halfway done though)
I re-redid almost all parts, I also realigned just about every vertice in the model. I personally like how the back part turned out.
There are absolutely no triangles left in this model. I tried to give the weapon as much definition by geometry, additional detail will be added through the skin.
Made in Blender.

*sees it now too....*
Yeah, I made those parts flat on purpose. I forgot that I can now remove them, oops.
May I ask for your opinion on how many polygons I spend on the more detailed parts?

Wow, that looks very nice, D.U.C.K and mswf, both very good models!
Can I ask a question about how I see how many poly's my model is?

Good job! Far better than my first try...
You could improve the connection of the jaw(bone) with the throat. And the nose looks sharp, you could round it a bit more. There are many nice (face) modeling videos on youtube to improve edge/work flow(most are for max but if you know basic poly/cube modeling techniques you can apply it to xsi).
@ Sampip: Go to Display>Visibility options>Stats.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
My first player model:
The B1-A Air Droid:
Modelled completely from scratch, 2728 vertices and that's about it. It's not amazing I know, but it may look better when I make a texture for it.
Loosely based off this reference but I had to make some changes to the model to be able to get it ingame correctly. I know the arms aren't in the correct position, I can easily fix this though.
Comments?
EDIT: Oh, the picture quality isn't paticularly good. I'll upload some new ones in a minute.

It looks like one of those annoying air pirates on Metroid Prime.sampip wrote:My first player model:
