I've had this map on the bench for a few months now, but seeing as the GT4 Competition has started I decided to pull it out and work on it.
Its designed to be apart of my map series (follows after Verena: Narcissus Valley) I've had to change the story for this map so it doesn't reveal much for the series. As this map is a major turning point in my series story wise it will turn out like the Star Wars trilogy, where ep 4,5,6 were released before 1,2,3 which leaves a mystery as to what happened.

Description
An underwater map Located outside an underwater mining station, Material from the mines is a combustible explosive when dry so its mined from underwater to prevent accidents and to keep it in a stable form.
The Mines are located on the South Pole of the planet, where the only non exhausted mineable material is located on the planet. The mines are made up up a few key structures and sectors.
Energy Collector Stations
Multiple stations are located around the planet, these ones underwater draw in a gas lift over by the mining of the materials and convert it to a usable power source.
Mines
Obvious to the name, this is where the mining happens. Specialized drills and extractors extract the material from the rock. In case of emergency blast doors will shut off the mining sections of the mines to prevent a disaster. Each mine entrance has a command center.
Manufacturing Facility
This is where the material gets cleaned up, extracted and and purified. The Material is then ready to be shipped out. The Material are placed into large crates where the moisture is sucked out of the material making it explosive and ready for customers to buy and use, such as the Republic Army.
Landing Docks
There are several landing docks located around the outskirts of the mines. They allow specialized ships to land and transport the crates to an outlet, Ships from small freighters to large Cargo Transport Ships such as the kind the Trade Federation used.
Collector Overlook
This is where the Mining Officers can overlook the entire mining operations. These overlooks are built up high above the mines, Sometimes located on top of an abandoned mining drilling rig.

Looks cool, Sounds sorta like combat outside the manan facilaty. Oh I would really like to beta... but I'm to busy with other stuff, like all the cursed problems my map throws at me ,besides I'm already signed up for two future beta's.
Anyway looks cool (been wanting anouther map like astutes first for bf1) Good Luck!
Penguin, my map has very similar effects, but did you use fog to make everything seem so....cloudy? I tried fog in my map, but it kept settling along the bottom and moved around to much.
I used fog and a very low vis distance, aswell as the sky and a few effects to make it like that, good thing with the fog and the vis distance is I can stick alot of objects in it without it lagging
Not to mention that those rules were put in place to prevent people from spamming "whens the release date! we want screens!" etc.
Since this map is for the Compitition it should be fine to post it publicly sinces its already well under way and not something that will be given up on and has a release date deadline.
Also i did include one quick screenie, have to update my post with the "up-to-date" ones as well as the rest of the beta spots.
I really should post more updates lol. Adding custom effects, changing laser textures, explosion effects and stuff for "under waterness" changing the layout and setting up the CPs

What underwater vehicles for the Clone Wars era are there?
So far i've only got Dwarf Spider Walkers, need some more vehicles for the Republic and CIS
