C&C 3 : Tiberium Wars Announced
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/com ... id=6147987
...okay, they dropped Renegade and the Red Alert series, but apparently EA Games isn't done with Command and Conquer just yet. Chances are that we'll have Halo 3 before then (even if they delay it as long as they did Halo 2), but will it be worth the wait? I'm keepin' watch on this one...

Off-topic : Talking of "eye", dreadlordnyax, it seems that a few Screen-Captures taken from Command & Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars have circulated across the Web, and I guess they might interest you... So, here they are :

Of course we do. 'Least I do. You find these with Google? I should use it more offen...lol "Offen" was a word on my spelling quiz today. So was "phsycology"...did I spell that right? That's how I spelled it on the test...LOL Anyway, I don't have to be told that those units are The Orca and the Mammoth Tank, both of which are kickbutt!

Off-topic : Well, Raptor', frankly speaking, I have located the first four Screenshots taken from Command & Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars thanks to Google, but regarding the other ones I have posted inside my second message, I have succeeded in getting them through a French web-site - Which can be easily consulted using this web-address -, whose "Management Team" has decided to digitize the concerned Pictures, as they were all coming from PC Gamer...

Off-topic : Be sure a large part of French people can be almost considered as being "cool", Raptor', especially when most of them have endeavoured in thinking that Working Hours must be exploited not to do what they're supposed to be paid for...
Regarding the possible presence of additional Command & Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars Screen Captures on Google, I seriously doubt you'll succeed in finding a few ones as much valuable as those already posted...

...how right you are (again), Levy...I got nothin' but C&C Generals mods, and insurance company, three estate dealers, and a porn site (No, I won't give you a link, and, no, I didn't stay and look at it).
I hope it's moddable...if so, I wonder how long before someone (tries to) make a Star Wars mod for it...LOL

Off-topic : I have not succeeded in localizing a Star Wars "Conversion Mod" designed for Command & Conquer : Generals, but it seems a similar Project has already been intended to Command & Conquer : Zero Hour, as stated on this web-site, Raptor'...

No, I meant I was wondering how long till someone would try to make one for Tiberium Wars. ...or I'm really as tired as my friends are saying and not understanding a word of this. lol I knew there was one for General's...they had a shot of some AT-AT's walking through a forest...it's a pretty good job done.

Off-topic : I guess you must be really "tired", Raptor', as the Star Wars : Imperial Assault Modification I have mentioned in my above message was intended to Command & Conquer : Generals - Zero Hour (As clearly precised on Mod DB web-page), which means you were partially right about the existence of such a content...

...yep...not much better right now, either...I've not been feeling that great since I posted that...anyway...I'm curious as to whether this is going to be one of those sequels where it's more like an expansion pack than a sequel (as far as mission style and units go), or if it's gonna be one where the name and maybe a few characters are all that connect the two, what since the first two C&C's were made more with images than models and this one with graphics too good for most computers. Hope not, I found the first two fun...well, I found "Tiberian Sun" fun, I never played the original C&C, I must admit...but I hope they make the infantry much weaker this time around, at least as far as hitpoints go. Like I've already stated, it took 5 tanks about 10 seconds to kill a single infantry. I found that...annoying. They were weak as crap, but they lived long enough to do some damage. That's one thing I really like about Act of War: the infantry were realistic, as their hitpoints and firepower/capabilities kept them, well, realistic.
Am I making any sense, or did I just go off on another tangent? Ah well, I'd better get to feeling better before monday...I'd better not be friggin' sick again! lol

Off-topic : Do not worry, Raptor', this time, be sure the sentences you've written above were fully understandable, which means you are not that "sick"...
Furthermore, regarding Command & Conquer : Tiberium Wars, we cannot currently determine whether this Electronic Arts video-game could be considered as being either a real "Stand-alone" one or a simple "Add-On" intended to the previous titles of the Command & Conquer Series, even by reading the Article PC Gamer had dedicated to this upcoming Product, but I would bet on the fact it will be an apart Real-Time Strategy game, as it will benefit from The Lord of the Rings : The Battle For Middle-Earth II Graphics Engine, additionally to an integrated "Voice over IP" Technology, amongst other innovative stuffs...

I slept about 12 hours today, so I'm feeling a lot better. lol
Anyway, I hope it's not a stand-alone...

i got mixed feeling about this. dont get me wrong, i want this game but i thought the third Red Alert would come out first to connect the tiberian and red alert series. And also i thought that this game would be called Tiberian Twilight (tiberian dawn, tiberian sun, ...) so that it would end the trilogy and feature the alien race (from the Scrin ship as seen in tiberian sun). And the game says it takes place after CnC renegade, not Tiberian Sun so its like they arent continuing the series as they said.

Well, anyway, I always thought of the different C&C games with seperate stories (Red Alert, Renegade, Tiberian, Generals) seeing as tiberium doesn't seem to be taking over the planet in Renegade, and doesn't even exist in the others, so I doubt it will have any connection to Renegade.
