Vehicle problems

I'm a fairly new modder and I am making an airbattle. However, I have never worked with vehicles. I haven't read any tutorials because I don't know where to get one for vehicles. I just took a crack at it and put a jedistarfighter in my map by coppying odfs, mshs, and tgas. However, when I enter ithe vehicle in the game, battlefront crashes...can somebody help out a poor noob?

Thats one way to go about it. Another way would be to read all the tutorials. The Getting Started Guide is a good place to start. It also tells you how to get vehicles spawning in your map.

It should. It walks you through creating vehicle spawn points. You can't just place a vehicle in a map. You have to place a vehicle spawn point, then a vehicle spawns there ingame.
