i made a boatvehicle and i wanted it to "hover" on the height 0, so that it can only "float" on the water
but now i have a big problem:
i made a takeoff anim for this boat (its a transportboat and the anim lowers the hatch to enter the boat)
and after i munged the anim i noticed, that a hover vehicle CANT have a takeoff anim :argh!:
so, do you have any idea, how to get the vehicle animated AND floating?
veery dumb problem

Re: veery dumb problem
I have a very roundabout way of doing it, but if you want the hatch to open before you get in it then, you could have an animated prop right where the ship is, just give the animated prop no collision geometry. Then have and onenter region command, so the hatch opens then another onexit region or something like that so that when the ship leaves the original object disappears. I hope this makes some sense, but this is my best idea so far.

I suppose you could try making a flyer that doesn't allow one to control the pitch, so it wouldn't be able to "fly" up or down. This should allow you to do exactly what you want without making it overly complicated.
