Problem with playing my first map

There is a problem when i try to play my first map now. I added an acclamator and a banking clan ship to act as crashed ships, but now when i try to play the map they crash and bring me to the desktop. I cleaned and then munged b4 i played.

This map is less than halfway done.

Anyone who wants to help me solve my prroblem plz download the link and try to find y my map keeps craashing when i play it.

Run the modtools.exe and load your map in instant action. Then, in your Gamedata folder, look at the file bfront2, which is a log. It records any errors your map creates, including conflicts that cause the map to crash. Hopefully that will help you narrow down the problem.

I dont understand what u said very well. When i go to my GameData there is BattleFrontII. When i click on it it brings me to the game. There is no bfrontII file. Where do i find this "log." Please specify jangoisbaddest.

What you do is copy bf2_modtools.exe from the BF2_Tools folder to your Battlefront II/Gamedata folder, then run it. It's a debug version of the game with no multiplayer. Then it will create a log called bfront2.log. In there you can find out what some of the errors are.

When i click on BF2_ModTools.exe it says please insert CD1. (SWBF2 cd1) It is in the drive. What is going on?

Edit: Does this have to do with me not having the CD version. I have the DVD version.

Yes, this only works for players with the CD version.

Owwwww. Darn. (I wont curse) I wish there was a way to find out what the problem is when i have the DDVD version. Is it possible for someoene with the CD version to check? Maybe u can download my files from the first post.

Richard, do u have the mod tools that have the debug software. I f so please PM them to me or post them below.

If anybody can debug my map please download the files. (Ill mention u did when i release the map)

Well I got the map and tried it out using the modtools, it crashed. So I took out all the .msh's and .odf's that had to do with the crashing, I munged and it still crashes. Moncal' said that he hasn't touched the lua at all, any suggestions on what to do next?
