Played the map today, and it was awesome! Its a completely new approach to SWBFII.
My suggestions:
-The main quality that makes this map great is the RPG part. switching it to conquest when you call for reinforcements was a bad idea, at least in my mind.
I would suggest a new quest telling the player to "Meet Special Forces team at Landpoint Onyx". From there they will join up with 4 Buffed-up dark troopers (30 times as srong as usual) who would lead you into the rebel base via hidden tunnel, while the main battle takes place in the forest and city. Once inside you could fight rebel Special Forces elites on your way to the jedi.
-More levels! it should go through 20.
-Maybe when the empire lands you get the hunting rifle switched with a very strong E-11 Rifle. (Reward weapon)
I understand how hard it must be to make this (Not really, I can't even begin to imagine the difficulty). I don't really expect my ideas to be put into this map, although I would appreciate it. The map is incredible the way it is. I hope to see more of these kinds of works in the future. I can barely wait!

Wow. That's extremely sexist, cloneknight. Nice job!
And, Ateas, most roleplaying video games aren't defined as games where you make your own character and play as that character. RPGs as video games are about having a character, often one that's entirely pre-defined and usually only the name can be changed, and you go around leveling up and collecting items in an oversized inventory and whatnot.
I thought this was really neat. Honestly, I didn't enjoy it, but it's still pretty cool and definitely well-made.

@Broadus:
How was cloneknight being sexist?
the empire didn't recruit females, they thought they were too weak. This is completely true in the star wars universe. If anything, the -empire- was sexist, not cloneknight... though good luck telling the empire to let females in... (they probably wont listen, cuz, ya know, they're not real >_< )
Also: archer01, I really enjoyed this map! I think it shows your a very skilled modder, and I'd love to see more maps like this! Are you planning to expand on this at all?

mhmm, but for the most part it's generally understood that the empire were both sexist and racist. If anyone's read the Thrawn series, they mention it a few...hundred times >_<
In fact, Thrawn himself is a case in point. The Rebel's didn't think he was a real 'Grand Admiral' because he was an alien, not a human... and the Emperor would never promote an alien to Grand Admiral....right?
But you're ultimately right Penguin; there were some occasions where females where allowed in. Mara Jade is an obvious example, and perhaps the little known Admiral Daala from Kevin Anderson's Academy series, who was stuck in an Admiral's position in the middle of the MAW installation simply because she was a woman. Interesting... the Emperor was more disposed to promote a male alien than a female human
.... oh well, it's a mystery, and a foolish mistake on the Empire's fault, as we know, there are genius females, even on this forum who excel where most males fail.
-------------------------------------
^all that's offtopic anyway^
I'd love to see more maps of this sort anyway Archer01. I've got to ask, though, about how much time did you spend on this map? It's pretty (completely) unique, so I'm curious.

Okay, okay, my bad. Cloneknight's not really sexist, I'm well aware that they didn't go around recruiting women. Still, Cloneknight said that a female character shouldn't be playable, and should only be a civilian. All I'm saying is, the player is meant to be an important, strong character, which most of the women that work for the Empire are.
That's all assuming the player has to play as a character working for the Empire, like in this game. You could just as easily have a "goodguy" female character to play as in a different game, because rebels certainly aren't sexist, as the sniper in Battlefront shows us.

Ah, now with that, I completely agree with you Broadus. An incalculable number of games have been made with males as the 'star role', and females playing the support role.
I just had a thought, something that might work with this mod, might not, but this is probably the place to post it, as this map is the closest thing to a proper storyline this game has. Wouldn't it be so insanely cool if this mod expanded on the Mara Jade storyline? It would maybe start out with a cut scene about the Emperor setting some hit out on... IDK, some hapless rebel Admiral.... or better yet, she's a plant in the rebel unit. Maybe she has to sneak in, or get recruited and work through the ranks (because as we know, the rebels are NOT sexist)
Mara would have to be constantly collecting information about the rebels and sending it to the Imps as she goes, getting transfered from planet to planet with the fleet, maybe having to prove herself fighting in small skirmishes with imperial-sympathizers or a horde of wampas or other beasts that attack rebel scouts. She'd give the Imperials data on their location and so the Imps would attack them every once in a while, ending in a massive conquest battle like in this OFM map!
This would probably have to be multiple maps loaded right after one another, so after you complete one, the next one loads... It'd be complicated, but it could work, right?
Anyway, I just really liked this mod, and I think it'd be a shame to see such a promising aspect of the game go to waste...
what ever you decide Archer.

They were officers!
But I doubt our hero in OFM is an ordinary stormy, but rather a member of the special forces. And since a) females are really useful for special forces and b) we don't have any information about the special forces...there's nothing standing in the way of Ms. OFM. (who could be a part of some kind of dark side organisation - and those definately accept females!)
