This is what you do when you don't want to do homework.

Nope, but many buildings in the map (I am planning to do) will have. My vision is to create Tatooine's capital city, Bestine, and make it look like a big and rich city. I was in London earlier this year and that gave me some inspiration for some buildings and such.jedi_pilot wrote:Nice building. Is it going to have an interior

I think one of the major flaws in SWBF2 are those "solid" buildings, specially in Tatooine where the only "interactive" building is the cantina, I am trying to make some "legos" for Tatooine buildings as well to have optional filling.Nope, but many buildings in the map (I am planning to do) will have. That would be a good idea to give buildings an interior, though it would be very difficult to do.vampire_lord wrote:Can I suggest making your buildings with an interior? Re: Model showcase thread Part II
Well, that was quick, I even edited my post to avoid redundancy...
Anyway, It is a little difficult but not impossible or too complex, that's what I try to accomplish with those "legos", most users who checked my beta of Northern Dune Sea noticed how I tried to compensate the lack of interiors by making up a few bunkers and stuff with wall assets, but one of the reasons I am still working on it are in fact a possible quick template to create interior on buildings as well as trying to replicate the shipped ones, that would reduce my object count on the map too.

Bestine IV is the world that some of the first settlers of Tatooine came from.

Re: Model showcase thread Part II
well the thing with having alot of hollow buildings is that it can slow down game performance, bestine is smaller than mos eisly by they way.

Re: Model showcase thread Part II
Yeah, but stuff like that doesn't stop me. For a long time, I've wanted to make a big Tatooine map, and I didn't want to go with Mos Eisley, and the name Bestine does sound cool really.minilogoguy18 wrote:well the thing with having alot of hollow buildings is that it can slow down game performance, bestine is smaller than mos eisly by they way.
On the other hand, I have never been a fan of 100% accuracy, so...
