Somewhat offtopic, but that's Penguin's big post, not Tean's

thats Penguin's.

It may be a staff forum of some sort only staff members can see.

You know, I was so confused by this until I realized that only the staff can still view that forum.

I thought that you had gone crazy for a moment.

We'll bring out the contest forum again for a Christmas avatar contest this year, pending a staff member deciding to get behind it and make the topic/rules.

I can't view it.

Meaning

• Anything from any game, As long as it has a Christmas theme.
• Or anything Star Wars related, as long as it has a Christmas theme.

Contest Specific Rules

• Avatars submitted must be under 150x200px. Animated avatars are to be under 30 frames.
• Christmas Time Games avatars must actually be from a game, Game screenshots, Game art, or using objects/etc from the game in your submission.
  
  If your Avatar doesn't fit in the theme then we'll tell you.
• Any Avatar submitted must have a Christmas theme.
• Maximum of 1 avatar submission from any one person. If you want to change your submission make it clear that you are.
• Avatar submissions must be of your own work, Another Gametoaster cant make an avatar for you.
• Votes for yourself will not count.

Categories, Voting, and Prizes

• Voting: After the 23rd there will be a week to submit your votes. Voting will end on the 30th and the results will be posted shortly after.
  
  When the voting starts, the 2008 Christmas Avatar Contest [Voting Thread] will be posted detailing all the instructions on how to vote.
• Categories: This year will be the return of the Categories that we didn't have last year.
  
  There will be 6 Categories.
  
  • Funniest Avatar
  • Most Technically Challenging
  • Most Original
  • Best Amateur
  • Best Games Related
  • Best Star Wars Related
  You'll get to nominate/vote for one person for each category.
• Prizes:
  Prizes are given out for the winners of each category. (Winners are determined by how many nominations/votes they got for that category.)
  
  Each winner gets a new rank/title, example, the winner of the Most Original category gets a 2008 Most Original Christmas Avatar rank/title.
  
  Then, everyone's nominations/votes are tallied up to determine the Avatar of the Year winner
  
  The winner of the Avatar of the Year can choose a title of his/her own liking. eg "looooooooooooolcats!".

Avatar submissions must be posted no later than December 23rd

To submit your avatar to the contest just post it in this thread. Avatars not submitted in this thread will not be entered!
