The content in the CE edition is really really cool, but I'm on the fence at the price. It's definitely a better one than what it was rumored though.

Most definitely. Although they haven't said how much, notice the "30 Days Game Time included" under the order button. They sure aren't making it very easy to know, but yes I believe it will be monthly.

bothan spies have died reporting its 15.99 a month. We hope their information was worth the effort. May the force be with this game!

That's not too bad, as it works out about £10.00 GBP a month. Even if it is slightly more than that though, I may well pick it up.

I just checked out the Collector's Edition price...
So, plus Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition, the total amount I need to earn and save is about... $230.00... :runaway: :runaway: :runaway:

Collector's edition's seem to be a waste of money in my opinion. You'd be better off getting the standard edition's, as apart from a few pointless extra's the game is exactly the same.

I hope this game does very well, I wish the best of luck to Lucasarts. I am sure it will be a great game, it better be considering how much they spent on making it. I however, will not ever buy it, for these reasons.
1) I am not a fan of the KotOR era or its characters.
2) I am not weathly enough to be able to buy the game and keep the subscription, although I think it can be played offline*, but I can't remember.
3) Sam (my netbook) is not strong enough in the force to play it, even if I wanted to.

So in conclusion, I wish many fun hours to anyone playing this game. :plokoon:

*edit: I fixed my idiot mistake.

It is a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO), so yes. It will only be online.

I've decided that I'm just going to get the standard edition after the game is released. I want to see what others think of the game. Better safe then sorry, especially since this will be my first game with a monthly fee. On a side note, if this game sells well, should we expect LA to begin working on more games in the future?

I'm wondering if the price for pre-orders will go down around the holidays, but IDK why they would.

Idk either, considering pre-ordering is just paying in advance. The $5 you put in is $5 less that you have to pay when the game comes out. You can even choose to pay MORE than $5 for your pre-order, but the minimum is usually $5.

I will be waiting I've heard way too much from beta friends But maybe it will be a fun game who knows... It's way too much money and could technically be launched just like star trek online( a major fail) . I've heard missions are repetitive in swtor , grouping is forced at some points, lag with all the launch kiddies may be horrible so I'll let them iron out the bugs, let everyone pour their money in then I'll grab someones dissapointment sale off ebay
