Munge error [Solved]

Munge error [Solved]

So when I go to munge a custom skin, I get this error:

The first part obviously means the tga isnt supported. I dont know why at all. I'm using the White Clone from The Complete Skining Tutorial. The second part again means im missing a bracket in my rep.req. Here is the .req

if bracket placement/location/etc. is important, that might be it. Otherwise im clueless as to why I'm getthing this error.

On a side: How do I get things into the mesh viewer? I can find my red clone's mesh, yet he doesnt show up in it. Maybe his TGA needs to be in a certain file or something but other than that, if you can tell me how to get my creations into the viewer that would be great :D

If you used gimp to reskin the clone, did you remember to uncheck RLE Compression?

I did de-check RLE it. Maybe re-save it.

EDIT: re-save didnt work. Also, When I tried to play the map I crashed. I can't get a log. yes I read 4th question FAQ thread about the modtools being debug executable and what not. I can get to the link but the thing wont download, another link anyone? I broke my bf2 CD and therefore I play using lucas arts launcher thing in

Yes I put the mod tools there but it still asks for a disc... so an alternate link to the no dvd would be nice.

By "alternate" do you mean not Mediafire?

Did you change the size of the skin to something now a power of 2 that may cause that error
(i might be wrong but i think the power of 2 thing has its own error?)

What happens is I click on the link, it asks me if I want to allow the download I choose yes it goes back the the first page, no download. I wait a few mins, nothing. My computer is FAR away from being godly so it didnt DL in 0.1 miliseconds either. Yes my specs are fine, lots of HD ( hard drive ) space and RAM, but nothing spectacular.

As for sizing, I left it the same. But what would cause it to crash?
Like I mentioned I wont know until I can get a log.....

I thought I did that at first. But reading it again tells me I didnt... and after trying it again I got the thingy to download. THANK YOU LUCKY13. :mrgreen:

Now I can get a log ( I hope ) and we can see what happens from there.

P.S. EVERYONE'S help is MUCH apreciated.

The part in red is what I changed. Nothing else in the LUA is affected. Also, I tried cleaning ( NOT a manual clean, but the munge clean ) didnt solve problem. I will probably manual clean when I get the time. Thanks for all the help!

EDIT2: I missed a line in the req, I added that in... still in the proccess of munging... Will update when/I F, it works ingame.

EDIT3: Ok, so I added the line in, munged again, and got no munge log. Then, while in the instant action menu, my world had no name, just the description. It was blank, but you could still click/play it. I was able to launch the game. Then I see my trooper. I'm at the part where you choose to be CIS or REP, or auto assign. I click rep and then it crashes. This is my new log from BF2 mod tools. There is no munge log. The error log:

The only thing that you guys should need to pay attnetion to is my Third edit, as that is the most recent log/problem. ON aside note, I have a whole wackload of severity 2 errors. I wont post for now as the two severity 3 errors are probably all you guys need/will save you a lot of pain.
