How to place objects exactly in Zero Editor [Solved]
This might seem like a stupid question but - how do I place objects in an exact place in Zero Editor? I know you can alter the exact height of the object via the type-in box but there isn't one for the X Axis or the Y Axis. This is annoying when placing small corridors and putting objects in a specific place. The normal 'hold C and click to drag to object' tends to drag the object in quite far steps, meaning I can't get my object exactly where I want it. Is there a specific way of placing objects on the X and Y axis?

Haha!
You didn't figure it out by yourself? It took me quite some time to stumble accross the right setting.
In object edit mode, look on the left side bar.
There, uncheck the box under "snap to" -> "grid" (the orange should turn grey)
Fixed
EDIT @Sky
I beat you in posting first

Button near the top left of the object panel under "Snap To"
With GRID and ROTATE.
GRID Normally highlighted. Click it to deselect. Allows precision movement when deselected.

Press "P" while highlighting the object. You can input directly the coordinates that are used in the .wld file. You have control over X,Y,Z, and scale, although scale is just a visual representation and does not affect your game.

Re: How to place objects exactly in Zero Editor
Or if you press P with the object selected a little box will pop up that shows you both the position and rotation of the object. You can enter numbers into these boxes for precise positioning. WARNING click on the box and scroll with the arrow keys to what you want to change or else it will blank out the box and you will have to enter all the coords again. If you bugger up then press cancel and try again. So if your X as shown in the pop up is 103.0124232 you can make it 103.000000 by going to the first number after the decimal point, press delete 6 times then add in 6 0s. Bit of a pain yes.
For rotation it is a bit more fun as it is a 4 number input based on that coordinate system that begins with Q but not going to try and spell it.
Oh you can also text edit the .wld and .lyr files and do the same thing (while not in ZE), the results aren't as instantaneous but it is a little easy. Just remember to keep the same format.
6 places behind the decimal.
Or what Mav said
Should learn to type faster
