CD/DVD emulators with SWBF I and II

Post by Leviathan »

Hi all !

Well, I thought using an emulation software (Virtual CD/DVD, Daemon Tools, etc...) with SWBF (And its sequel once I'll get it), but I do not know if it'd work with them... (Moreover, I want to be sure not to wast money on a software which would not work properly...)
That's why I ask you if you've ever used such programs with SWBF I and II, and I'd wish to know what its (their) name(s) and price(s) are...

Thanks for your contribution !...

An emulator is a program allowing you not to use anymore your games' supports (CD, DVD, etc...), since it simulates their presence in your CD/DVD drive. Thus, you can play to your favorite games without any CD/DVD, although you had to insert it before playing to them when there wasn't emulator...

If emulating a CD or a DVD was so easy, I'd have never made this thread...

Well regretably, emulators don't work so well with swbf2. There is a section of code that detects if an emulator is installed or not and if it is detected, then it refuses to run. there is a way around it though, but I'm not going to post it here. Daemon tools though I seem to like out of all the others.

Well, it's undestandable, theese image files are easy to make using for eg. Nero. It's simpply a way of preventing copying.

If there weren't people making illegal copies, I guess I'd have made my virtual image for a long time, now...
