ok, so i want to make new all.lvl imp.lvl rep.lvl and cis.lvl for the game so i can use my custom skins, like what the conversion pack did. i figured the logical thing to do was just create new sides, and copy the folders from the assets, and munge away. but when i put them in the game's folder the game crashed midway through loading the map. I have not done anything with the assets. Any ideas on what else to do?

I believe you are thinking of the unofficial 1.2/1.3 patch.

Get an error log and try to figure out what the problem is. If you don't understand what is causing the crash from the log then post it. A further detailed explanation of how you munged and replaced the sides .lvls would be nice too.
